Non-consultant doctors (Southampton)

As well as our team of consultants, there are other doctors who work within the department on a rotating basis, usually looking after you if you are an inpatient. They include senior clinical fellows (usually in the service for 12 months), and junior clinical fellows (usually in the service for six months at a time).

Medical students

The service often hosts medical students from the University of Southampton and sometimes from further afield, on the ward, ward rounds, during clinics and undertaking research projects.
