Research and education

We have an established research programme, which is closely linked to our clinical service through our research nurse team. We're working to improve the investigations we use to diagnose TB and to understand some of the mechanisms behind the way the immune system responds to TB, as well as the damage that TB can cause to lung tissue.

We frequently host trainee doctors and pharmacists within the clinic. A specialist registrar in respiratory medicine or infectious diseases is trained in each clinic.
