If you need a general anaesthetic for thoracic surgery you'll be treated by a consultant, although there may be other anaesthetists in training grades involved in your care. We also work closely with the acute pain team. Depending on your operation, you might see them afterwards.Consultants

Chapman, Dr RichardDr Chapman has worked for the Trust since November 2007 and works in thoracic, upper gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and neurosurgery.
Hughes, Dr SimonDr Simon Hughes is a consultant anaesthetist with an interest in major trauma and pre-hospital emergency medicine.

Dr Kellett is a consultant anaesthetist.
Krivski, Dr LeoDr Krivski specialises in major surgery (vascular, thoracic, hepatobiliary and upper gastrointestinal), and perioperative care of high-risk surgical patients.
Kukreja, Dr Roy AmitDr Kukreja joined the Trust as a consultant anaesthetist providing anaesthesia for patients undergoing major general surgery.
McGill, Dr NeilDr McGill has worked for the Trust since June 2005 and is the anaesthetic lead for both cancer ablation and bariatric (weight loss) surgery.
Nel, Dr LindaDr Nel has worked for the Trust since May 2002. She is the department lead for anaesthesia-related allergy.
