He provides anaesthesia for major surgery (vascular, thoracic, hepatobiliary and upper gastrointestinal), and perioperative care of high-risk surgical patients. Dr Krivski has a particular interest in perioperative medicine. This involves pre-assessment and optimisation of high-risk surgical patients having complex surgery, as well as close monitoring, organ support, and various interventions including multimodal pain relief intra-operatively, in order to reduce the risk of complications.

Dr Krivski has an active interest in teaching. He is involved in various training programmes both within the region, teaching at the Wessex regional FRCA (fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists) exam preparation course, and internationally, being a frequent speaker at various national anaesthetic conferences in the countries of the former Soviet bloc. Dr Krivski is also an examiner for the European Diploma of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC).
