Whole genome sequencing service
Through the NHS Genomic Medicine Service, whole genome sequencing (WGS) is now available for certain conditions where the scientific evidence shows it can help improve patient care.
Clinical indications for testing are listed in the National Genomic Test Directory.
All current documents, forms and information required to refer your patient for WGS are available on the NHS England website.
