Maggie's Southampton
The Maggie’s Centre is a facility that has been built at UHS providing extra support services for cancer care patients and their families. Patients, family, and friends can drop in to see the trained staff and volunteers who work at the centre.
It offers a wide range of services and is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday to anyone who needs our support, free of charge and with no appointment necessary.
Our centre is a calm and welcoming place, a refuge where people can reflect and re-charge at all stages of their cancer journey, from diagnosis to treatment, through to remission and bereavement. Maggie’s offers expert advice and guidance from a cancer support specialist and clinical psychologist, provides access to a benefits advisor, and runs support groups, gentle exercise classes, art and relaxation sessions.
You can find the centre next to the blue car park. Please use the entrance via Tremona Road.
