Epilepsy service

The Wessex Neurological Centre is based at Southampton General Hospital, and provides a service for people in the region living with epilepsy, including those who have complex epilepsy needs.

There are many misconceptions about epilepsy and although some people do have some difficulties because of their seizures, most people with epilepsy live normal lives.

We support patients to achieve this and can help if you have been newly diagnosed with epilepsy or if you have been living with it for some time. We may also see you if you are being assessed for epilepsy surgery.
