Our clinics

There may be several people in the room when you attend your clinic appointment, not just the doctor that you have been referred to. These extra people are staff relevant to your care and will be introduced to you when you arrive.

Cognitive clinic

In our cognitive clinic we see patients who have difficulties with memory, attention, language and behaviour, where it is suspected that these difficulties are caused by a degenerative process such as dementia.

We mostly see people with younger onset conditions, where cognitive difficulties arise under the age of 65. We have a particular interest in cases where diagnosis is difficult or complex, whatever the age.

Many of the people attending the clinic (and their carers) are enrolled in various clinical research trials.
