Diagnostic audiology assessments

We complete specialist adult hearing assessments upon the request of medical professionals.

Most commonly, referrals are received from neurologists for patients with a diagnosed or suspected acoustic neuroma. These appointments involve a routine hearing test as well as speech audiometry.

We also complete additional tests on the request of medical professionals when previous test results have been inconclusive.

Please note we do not currently complete auditory processing disorder (APD) assessments.
