Reflecting on our year - commemorative edition of Connect magazine

This commemorative edition coincides with the anniversary of the UK's first Covid lockdown tomorrow (Tuesday, 23 March).

The last 12 months has challenged us in ways none of us could previously have imagined and we’ve all had to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Although it’s been tough, our staff have risen to that challenge and this issue of Connect features some fantastic tributes to them and a number of amazing examples of best practice and highlights from across the last year – everything from our involvement in vaccine trials and the opening of our new general intensive care unit, to the unveiling of the Banksy and the launch of COVID Zero.
