BBC news feature the stories of our staff as they reflect on their year
To mark the anniversary of a year in lockdown and as part of a series of features reflecting on the past year, some of our staff shared their stories with the BBC.
Viv Hudson, ward manager; Laszlo Penzes, clinical practice educator; Sarah Phillipson, senior sister and Anne Chau, junior doctor all contributed to the piece and will also feature in a BBC documentary to be aired later this month.
The news piece not only gave an insight into what our colleagues had experienced in their professional lives, being on the frontline in our response to the pandemic, but also gave an insight into how they were coping personally.
Thank you to our staff for telling their stories and representing the reflections of NHS workers across the country as we now look towards recovering and rebuilding.
