Appointment of non-executive director Alison Tattersall
UHS is pleased to announce the appointment of Alison Tattersall as a non-executive director, with effect from June 2024.
Alison spent her executive career at Barclays and Barclaycard, leading large commercial marketing teams. Her experience includes digital transformation, developing and launching innovative propositions, and ensuring customer experience and satisfaction remains central.
She currently also serves on the Board of the Stafford Building Society, a Midlands-based mutual, and is a Trustee of The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals, the UK's largest veterinary charity.
Speaking of her appointment, Alison said: "I'm thrilled to be joining the Trust and all 13,000 of the amazing individuals who make up UHS. Their commitment to research and innovation, together with the focus on patients, their families and the local community is particularly attractive to me. I've been incredibly impressed with the team through the induction process and I'm really looking forward to working with them."
Trust chair, Jenni Douglas-Todd, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alison as non-executive director at UHS. I am confident that her specialist knowledge and vast experience will be invaluable and complement the skills of the wider Board and help to enhance the work of the trust as a whole.”
