Celebrating 50 years: Southampton Research past, present and future

This virtual event was an opportunity to celebrate 50 years of research partnership between UHS and the University of Southampton.

We looked back at 50 years of pioneering clinical research and innovation, and looked forward to what we can achieve together.

The event was chaired by Jane Bailey, interim chair of UHS, with contributions from Dr Karen Underwood, interim director of research and development (R&D); Marie Nelson, R&D head of nursing and health professions and Professor Christopher Kipps, clinical director for R&D
