An insight into patient and public involvement - Find out how you can help shape UHS services

7pm, Wednesday 2 March 2022

Microsoft Teams Live

This event was an opportunity to learn more about how patients and the public can get involved in shaping UHS services.

With our Always Improving strategy setting out the bold ambition that patients will ultimately lead improvement across the Trust, attendees heard more about our plans to use volunteer patient representatives to support quality and safety activity, as well as details on how to get involved.

There were also case studies on initiatives demonstrating how patient partners have helped to shape the UHS services that matter to them.

The was chaired by Peter Hollins, chair of the Trust Board, with contributions from Ellis Banfield, associate director for experience of care; Dr Kate Pryde, clinical lead for Always Improving; Christina Rennie, patient safety specialist and Carl Ruckley, patient partner.
