Clothes bank for patients
The clothes bank provides warm and clean clothing for patients to go home in.
Where possible, patients are encouraged to ask relatives to bring in clothes for them. If this isn't possible, a member of staff will contact the clothes bank and make arrangements.
Donating second-hand clothes
The clothes bank can only provide clothing to patients through generous donations.
Please help us maintain this service by donating clean, loose-fitting clothes such as:
- Jumpers
- T-shirts
- Trousers
- Shorts
- Dresses
- Skirts
- Jogging bottoms
All items need to be clean and in a good state of repair. We cannot accept underwear, shoes, coats or any sequined or sparkly tops.
You can donate clothes by bringing them to the Patient Support Hub, located on B Level in the Feast Restaurant, open 10am – 4pm Monday – Friday excluding bank holidays. For more information about the clothes bank, call 0800 484 0135 or email patientsupporthub@uhs.nhs.uk
