Children's cancer and haematology: Piam Brown
The Piam Brown unit is an oncology and haematology centre caring for children from birth to 16 years. We're one of 22 regional centres across the UK treating children and adolescents with cancer and haematological disorders.
Our unit has a 12-bed inpatient ward and a day care and outpatient area. You can find out more about our facilities, and our large and varied team who will look after your child and support the rest of your family.
We also have a well established shared care system with district general hospitals, which means your child can have some of their treatment closer to home.
Piam Brown paediatric haematology and oncology unit has been designated a MASCC Centre of Excellence in Supportive Care in Cancer.
MASCC is the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer and recognises oncology centres that demonstrate best practices in supportive cancer care.
