Meet the team

Bursledon House employs a multi-skilled team of staff, including trained nurses and health care assistants, pediatricians, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians and play specialists.

We operate a named nurse system, in which each child/young person has two nurses who have a special responsibility for them. The named nurse or associate nurse will provide a written care plan devised in consultation with other members of the team, with the child/young person and his or her parent/carer. Care plans will be discussed and reviewed, and where appropriate, amended by the named nurse/associate nurse.

The names of your child's nurses will be written on the board by the nurses station.
