Children and young people’s patient experience survey 2024

Tell us about your care

This Trust is carrying out a survey between March and May 2024 to look at the experiences of children, young people (and their parents or carers) who stay in one of our hospitals for at least one night or are admitted but do not stay overnight (such as emergency admissions and planned day cases) and are discharged during March, April and May 2024. This survey is part of a national programme to improve experiences of children and young people.

Your feedback matters and is important to us. We will use the survey results and feedback to understand how children, young people (and their parents/ carers) experience the care we provide so that we can make improvements.

If you are invited to take part, the Trust will pass on your contact details (name, mobile telephone number and postal address) so researchers can get in touch with you in a few months’ time about the survey.

The survey is undertaken on behalf of the Care Quality Commission by the Survey Coordination Centre at Picker.

Taking part in the survey is voluntary and all answers are confidential. The results of the survey will be presented in a form that does not allow any individual’s answers to be identified.

If you do not wish to take part, or have any questions about the survey please contact email patientinvolvement@uhs.nhs.uk
