After your appointment

You will be given information about next steps for your care after your appointment. This may include being put on to a patient initiated follow up (PIFU) pathway. This means you will not be given a follow up appointment, but you will have a specific length of time to contact the hospital if you feel you need to be seen again. This will be discussed with you.
