Latest infection prevention guidance for patients and visitors

Infection prevention measures currently in place

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust continues to take all necessary precautions to protect patients and staff from coronavirus (COVID-19) and other virus such as respiratory illnesses and norovirus that circulate.

We regularly review our mask wearing and visitor guidance in line with current rates of infection and will introduce extra infection prevention measures where it is necessary to help protect our patients and staff from the spread of viruses. 

We need support from the community as we take these steps in order to help protect our staff and the patients in their care.
