Mr Rabin Singh

Mr Singh is a dual qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He has a specialist interest in head and neck surgery and micro-vascular reconstructive surgery.

Mr Singh joined the Trust in September 2015. He has surgical experience in the following areas:

Rabin acted as a principal investigator (PI) for following studies:

  • Cancer Research UK (CRUK) randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase IIa trial of AMG 319 given orally as a neoadjuvant therapy in patients with human papilloma virus (HPV) positive and negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), University Hospital Southampton, 2017/18 (published in Nature)
  • CovidSurg Cohort and CovidSurg Cancer Collaboration, University Hospital Southampton, 2020

Rabin is a member of the education faculty at the University of Southampton medical school and Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is an examiner for the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England Examinations (MRCS).

Rabin has contributed numerous book chapters in reputable textbooks in the field of OMFS, otolaryngology and plastic surgery as well as in the 6th edition of the UK national head and neck multidisciplinary team (MDT) guidelines.
