Mr Nicholas Brook

Training and education
Mr Brook achieved his medical degree at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1993. After this, he trained in London and was admitted as a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2003.
Having completed his research under the supervision of Lord Professor Robert Winston at the Hammersmith Hospital, he completed his infertility and general
gynaecology training at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London under Professor Peter Braude and the team. He was appointed as a consultant gynaecologist at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust in 2006.
Experience
Mr Brook has both his general obstetrics and gynaecology certification and in addition is a sub-specialist in reproductive medicine and surgery. He is actively involved with research within the fertility department and lectures regularly locally, regionally and nationally. In his spare time, he is the gynaecology advisor to the BBC series Holby City.
Key achievements
Along with his colleague Professor Ying Cheong, Mr Brook has established specialised fertility clinics including recurrent miscarriage, endocrine and fertility, and male infertility.
