Experience

Mr Eni-Olotu has worked for the Trust since January 2000. He's been a hip surgeon since January 2002.

Mr Eni-Olotu's responsibilities at UHS and University of Southampton include:

  • treating conditions that affect the hips
  • acting as a selector for the medical school
  • teaching medical students and setting their exams
  • being a member of the postgraduate and undergraduate student progress committee.

Mr Eni-Olotu has a particular interest in hip surgery for young patients.

Research

Mr Eni-Olotu's research includes:

  • Floating clavicle - simultaneous dislocation of both ends of the clavicle. Injury vol. 28, no. 4, pp 319 - 320 (1997).
  • The use of handheld cement sample as a guide to the setting of in situ cement mantle. The Journal of Arthroplasty, vol 16, no. 2, pp 376 - 378 (2001).
  • Experimental and analytical evaluation of the dynamic change in viscosity during PMMA bone cement curing - poster presented September 2001 to the European Society of Engineers in London.
