Miss Doreen Khan-Lim

Miss Khan-Lim is an ophthalmology surgeon with a sub-specialty interest in oculoplastics.

Experience

Within Miss Khan-Lim's sub-specialty, she has an interest in eyelid, eyelash and lacrimal disorders as well as dry eye and related conditions.

Miss Khan-Lim carries out surgery and treatments for watery eyes and eyelid abnormalities from a variety of causes ranging from skin cancers to age related changes. Her patients include people with facial nerve palsy and its complications. She has a large facial dystonia practice, treating facial spasms and complications of facial palsy with botulinum toxin injection.

Miss Khan-Lim has set up a clinical psychology service within ophthalmology, and works in conjunction with a psychologist to manage patients with a variety of periocular conditions and dystonia.  

Research

With an active role in education and research within ophthalmology, Miss Khan-Lim has a PhD in dry eye conditions, and continues to be involved in clinical research in periocular and ocular surface disease.
