Dr Tandon is a locum consultant in paediatric haematology.
She looks after children with conditions such as:
- leukaemia
- lymphoma
- Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) and other histiocytic disorders
- haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH)
- thalassaemia
- sickle cell disease
- inherited bone marrow failure syndromes.
She also sees patients with other benign blood conditions including haemoglobinopathy and inherited bone marrow failure syndromes.
Dr Tandon is involved in the care of both inpatients and outpatients.

Dr Tandon's research interests include:
- Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) and histiocytosis
- acute lymphoblastic leukaemia
- acute myeloid leukaemia
- tumour biology
- CAR T-cell therapy (an immunotherapy treatment) and other cellular therapies.
