Experience
Dr Kharbanda is a clinical genetics consultant who joined the Trust in August 2016. She provides outpatient clinics across the Wessex area for both general genetics patients and cancer patients receiving genetics-based treatment.
She also works as part of multidisciplinary teams to give specialist advice to doctors with different specialties and is involved in recruiting patients to take part in research studies - a recent example of this is the 100,000 Genomes Project.

- Was involved in establishing a multidisciplinary team for renal (kidney) genetics in the west of Scotland

Dr Kharbanda has a particular interest in renal genetics and leads a local multidisciplinary team meeting four times a year.
