Experience
Dr Evans examine specimens (biopsies, surgically removed specimens and fluids) taken from the respiratory and gynaecological systems to establish the cause of diseases and to determine the most appropriate care. In the case of cancers, Dr Evans make the diagnosis and establish the stage. He also works to facilitate testing for abnormalities of the DNA and proteins in cancer cells, to ensure that patients with all types of cancer are able to access personalised cancer therapies. He works to ensure that patients across Wessex, Thames Valley and the West Midlands have access to this testing.
