Experience

Dr Perry started her consultant post in Southampton in January 2024. Within fetal medicine, she manages complex pregnancies and prenatal diagnosis. Within maternal medicine, she provides care to women with complex medical conditions during their pregnancies. She has extensive experience in both research and quality improvement and is active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Key achievements

  • HSJ award winner 2017: ‘Using Technology to Improve Efficiency’ for home blood pressure monitoring in pregnancy.
  • Prize for best presentation in session, RCOG World Congress, London, UK 2019.

Research

Dr Perry’s research interests include the role of maternal health in complicated pregnancies and the use of technology to improve maternal and fetal monitoring. She is an advisor to the iTech project (Wellcome Leap In Utero project based in Uganda) and regularly acts as a peer-reviewer.
