Experience

Dr Henderson has worked for the Trust since 2000. 

I completed my postgraduate dermatology training in Yorkshire and the Midlands, spending 1 year in Tanzania gaining experience of dermatology in sub-Saharan Africa before taking up a consultant post in York. I worked there for 5 years before moving to Southampton to lead the skin cancer services in the Dermatology Dept. I am now the Lead for Skin cancer within the Trust.

Key achievements

Lead for Skin cancer with responsibility for implementing Skin Cancer IOG. Hampshire/IOW Representative for Hospital Consultants & Specialists Association - 8 of past 10 yrs

Research

Pigmented lesions - various studies underway (some part of multicenter studies & others local departmental).
