Experience
Dr Shah joined the Trust in 2014 and helps deliver and supervise the delivery of our adult echocardiography services, including transthoracic, transoesophageal, stress, contrast and three-dimensional echocardiography.
He holds British accreditations in transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography and European accreditation in transthoracic echocardiography. Dr Shah is also a past member of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) transoesophageal echocardiography certification committee.
Dr Shah also has a specialist interest in valvular heart disease and has established the multi-disciplinary Wessex heart valve clinic, which treats patients with heart valve diseases both before and after heart valve surgery.
