Experience

Dr Jenks has worked as a consultant with the Trust since 2012, initially at Countess Mountbatten House and with the community palliative care team. He has worked with the hospital palliative care team since 2014.

He has a keen in interest in supportive and early/proactive palliative care for patients and runs a weekly supportive care clinic for patients with cancer.

He also helped develop and is a key part of the RAMPART clinic – a one-stop multi-disciplinary radiotherapy clinic primarily for patients with pain from bone metastases.

He is the deputy chair for the Wessex Cancer of Unknown Primary Network Group.

Dr Jenks is also the lead for undergraduate education in palliative and end of life care.
