Experience

Dr Calver has worked for the Trust since May 1994. Her role includes general and interventional cardiology and provision of a 24 hour heart attack service covering the populations of Southampton and Winchester.

Dr Calver is the clinical lead for the percutaneous aortic valve implantation programme. She also has a strong commitment to training doctors of the future and is head of the Wessex School of Medicine. She has national roles as vice president elect for training at the British Cardiovascular Society and vice chair of the Royal College of Physicians specialist training committee in cardiology.
