Dr Mason is a rheumatology consultant.

Experience

Dr Mason was appointed to the Trust as a consultant in 2020 having previously worked here as a registrar.

From 2009 to 2014 she completed her medical training in London and then moved to the Wessex region for specialist rheumatology training and has developed a particular interest in connective tissue diseases, including SLE and vasculitis.

Dr Mason also has an interest in medical education and is currently deputy module lead for Southampton medical school musculoskeletal year 1 module and is a co-author for the EULAR online course on rheumatic diseases.
