Feeding your baby - getting support in Southampton
There is lots of support available for you on your feeding journey. When you are first discharged from hospital or the birth centre you will receive a brown envelope with contact numbers on the front.
The infant feeding team will be working in a different way following Covid. Drop-in support at the hospital, formerly known as breastfeeding babes, is no longer running. Instead, a member of the team will be concentrating on helping new families with feeding their baby at the bedside on the post-natal wards.
Once you're home, you can contact your midwife, community team or the infant feeding team to get support with feeding your baby.
