Ear, nose and throat

We treat adults and children with a variety of conditions, covering central southern England and the Wessex region.

As a regional centre, our service has sub-specialities including one-stop clinics for head and neck lumps, specialist rhinology (nose) and otology (ear) services and a leading cochlear implantation programme.

Finding us

We have clinics at several different sites:

  • Outpatient clinics are based at Southampton General Hospital, and at the Royal South Hants.
  • The one stop neck lump clinic, combined head and neck clinic, and paediatric airway clinic are at Southampton General Hospital, within the oral and maxillofacial department on C level.
  • Our other clinics are mostly based at Royal South Hants, on A level.

Audiology and hearing therapy

Our ear, nose and throat team work closely with the audiology and hearing therapy department at Royal South Hants Hospital, providing outpatient services to any age across the Southampton area. We also run a primary ciliary dyskinesia service for adults and children.
