Spinal enhanced recovery programme

Welcome to the Wessex Spinal Service Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) programme.

Our goal of this programme is to give you information and support to help reduce some of the stress of surgery and help improve your recovery.

Our hope is that by providing you with practical information you will be able to prepare, know more about what to expect in the pre and post operative phases and help you to recover more quickly.

Presently, we are unable to offer patients a pre and post-operative call. Should you have any queries relating to your admission please contact the booking team on the number provided within your admission letter.

Please note, addendum to information provided in ERP video below: Patient will be provided with a carbohydrate drink if identified and clinically required at pre-assessment.
