Experience

Dr Nicholson-Roberts joined the Trust in 2012 as a consultant in the neurosciences intensive care unit. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps serving as a consultant in intensive care medicine. He regularly flies as a prehospital emergency physician with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance.

He trained in London, Wessex and south west regions, and completed a fellowship at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.

Dr Nicholson-Roberts is currently researching medical countermeasures to toxic lung injury with Defence Science and Technology Laboratories and the University of Southampton.
